Due to Jason Millers breakdown of Sorcery is Real, it made me question how much effort I'm putting into my life.
Im a has-been ex IT Specialist who worked for over twelve companies of large name, mostly banks/insurance companies, now limited to dead end jobs that have customer who drive me up a wall daily. Not my plan for my life, and supposedly God had some spectacular goal, yet to be seen.
So, this journal will be a dedication towards attempting to harness the "powers" or angels and demons personally, from my own self, not with their help atm.
It will use the names in Magick of Angels and Demons, and will take into account all said about their powers within my pool of resources found in the library.
To avoid my suicidal ideation, I will instead refocus my life and mental health, and seek all normal avenues for my needs, and hopefully get approved finally for SSDI so I can finally regenerate after what this country has put my existence through and continues to try to do so. And yes, Ive considered defecting for a better life and not the bullshit American Dream that no longer exists for the middle aged.
So, in an attempt to stay positive and alive and in the present, I will start with #1 Shem and #1 Demon lists of powers and try to figure out what I can personally do to accomplish them without their help, then through all 144. Then I may consider evocation or patrons.
This will start this Monday.
#1. Vehuiah and King Bael.
According to Magick of Angels and Demons, they can fulfill the following:
1. To expand consciousness, especially in the sciences.
This will be a miracle, as I have the equivalent of a actual 8th grade education, and a HS Diploma and A.A. in LSA. I know no sciences.
2. To carry out a demanding task through to completion.
I can think of several personal examples where this would help greatly.
3. To change the mind of one who is wise.
I cannot think of an example, this will be challenging.
4. To appear confident to all who know or meet you.
This will be a miracle, as my confidence, self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth have been nuked and left for dead in a ditch.
5. To speak with courage and wit to conceal deception.
This will be challenging.
6. To create an illusion that conceals the truth of any situation or relationship.
I can think of a few applications.
7. To make an enemy irrationally afraid.
Hadnt planned on this, but okay.
We start Monday. I guess I put thought into this today, and actions possible tomorrow.

Also, my involvement in scientific programming is potentially helpful, as well as Basic Skills in Physics and sciences, as well as Geometry on up to Basic Calculus, Mineraology, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Astronomy resources ought to help. Also at home science kits. Reading or viewing Discovery and Gaia topics and doing research.
Practiced a few of the points for Confidence. Will browse Science in a Nutshell in a bit.
Practice 8 hours each daily as much as can be done in that time (ie if at work, practice confidence when with or not with customers, contemplate the sciences in daily life for eight hours a day, unless interrupted. This is 200% effort. Even if a bit undereducated, at least im continuing to educate myself.
I will be honest: Several of these alone are quite challenging, I picked the two easiest ones. Not sure about expansion of consciousness regarding science, but will endeavor to learn as much as possible in a week, and carry them (all tasks) integrated into my self. Some will be impossible, that is where I feel their power is the strongest, in those challenging or impossible situations, try to at least learn the lesson involved.
Aside from my Debian linux and streaming apps project, will keep programming centered on scientific problems and solutions.
Another Confidence booster: David McGraws 500 Positive Affirmations (general one, he has a few videos on YT), listen to daily and nightly.
Add the Bornless Ritual to confidence endeavors.
Energy Work wise, I will keep on Dragon Hides the Treasure, as the point of it is to tense and relax muscles, and keep body straight, opening top center and bottom meridian points for energy flow. The pose elements itself pushed head up and straight eyes forward, hands and feet down, and body straight. This could also be considered a "power pose".
Science experment one: Successful creation of an oil made from herbs, with an explanation of the process elements that occurred from start to finish. I have equipment for this project.
Listened to David McGraws video before sleeping and fell asleep to it, had first restful sleep in a week, thanks David!

Have several science books open, and ready to program ... but ... something needs to get done today that Im procrastinating on due to fear of rejection (SSA information).
Plan to start low and aim high in learning science. The thing is, their powers would possibly make it moments of genius, or a protege of some sort overnight like a moron to Stephen Hawkings overnight. That is a power. This is simply studying/revisiting college info missed or lost.
Should've confronted my fear of math three deuces ago and majored in Math with a Computer Science minor, then gone onto a Masters in Anthropology.
Lesson learned. Follow your passion and face your fear.
Mathematics is the same language wherever you go (per Lindsey in Mean Girls), which is true. Bartering in prepping depends on good math to insure personal survival. We use math in our everyday affairs, the house we live in is founded on math, plumbing and electrical are founded on math. Our cars, our business is handled by math and founded on it.
There is no escaping math, and in an effort to expand consciousness on the sciences begins and ends with mathematics.
Math is used in our magick. From candles we get lumens and it burns in time and burns out in time. Time is based on physics and math, same as candles. Incense is weighed in portions based on math, and combined in an alchemical fashion. Alchemy on the physical is founded on math.
Our tools are measured and built according to math. Our time in a ritual is mathematical in nature.
In terms of confidence, well, this will take work for courage and confidence combined.
Focusing on sound today in math and physics, as well as architecture surrounding it, to see what effect noise and other laws of nature have. This was a secret of the Ancient Egyptians.
Okay .. so sound according to the Egyptians ... certain texts such as the Book of the Dead taught sound and words to use based on the current moment of the process.
A few ancient Egyptian words here with reference to meaning and a description of the Hieroglyphs involved to start with.
Some of the seven cosmic powers are in relation to sound specifically and implied:
Hu - Taste, authoritative utterance. We have on the four elements of the Hieroglyph on the left are two identical figures, strands or waves, where the frayed ends are on the bottom and three loops like the infinity sign extended. To the right is a Hawk, in reference to Horus. To the right is a figure with a goatee beard and bears an ankh in a knees up sitting position.
Sedjem - hearing, to hearken (listen). Three figures with the leftmost two in one appears to be an ear or possibly a feather with a vertical line below it. To the right is a bird, possibly an owl. To the right is the knees up seated figure bearing an ankh in the left hand. Thoth perhaps.
Heka - Magic, creative impulse. We have three figures, left most is one wave strand with the three loops and frayed ends on bottom, two arms raised alone in a U position and palms straight and up, and the knees up seated figure with the ankh in left hand.
Sa - Universal force, spiritual substance. Four figures are present in the Hieroglyph .. The leftmost is a crook or cane, the next is a one loop wave strand with whiskers through half the loop, the right is a hawk possibly Horus, the rightmost are three open dots in a vertical fashion one on top of the other separated by a small line of space.

I will spare the details at the moment until I have collected notes, but there are three parts, definitions, formulas, and experiments.
In addition, the Universal Power is associated with Principle and Human Power.

While Ta, Earth is assigned to hearing as the sense, all five elements including Quintescence has an assigned vowel, E as Earth, A as Fire, I as Air, O as Water, and U for Quniessence.
With cosmology or Cosmic Resonance, there is according to the zodiac signs a Physical part, a Functional system and a Metaphysical Faculty.
To Aries is: Head, Brain (including ears) : Autonomic : Regeneration
To Taurus is: Throat (speaking) : Metabolic : Fusion
In addition, we come now to Theurgy, or divine rites. This is a multi step intricate and artistic process, in which at several points requires speech and hearing (sound resonating through the esoteric architecture of the place in which it takes place, typically temples).
