Speaking of plants and such, after reading Leo qualities, my moon appears not to be a private mask as I once thought, but my outward qualities, however the libra sun and Scorpio ascendant do the same, so I guess I am still grappling with the idea of if there is a public and private self by sun or moon sign, while the ascendant is your true self in the first house of self.

So my profile pic you are now seeing is what I believe they refer to as the Earth Watchtower, or Earth Tablet for Enochian Magic. Unshaded/not colored as of yet, since it needs to be redone with ore line accuracy and space for a good seal above. Ideally want to paint in acrylic on an acrylic board. After Earth is done, will start using Earth rituals and start the Air Watchtower and so on.

May start again with some elements of greek and Egyptian magic in line with hermetic principles to see if there is an effect there.

Dont gt me wrong, some great gospel music exists, phenomenal music arrangements.

It occurred to me while listening to some great gospel music, that that is not necessarily a sign you're spiritually pure or are making a sufficient contact temple for angels. For the neat freaks out there, angels and demons have seen far worse.

Some areas of life - police, fire, paramedics, mortuary, military, doctors, have seen people at their worst. Some pulled through, some didn't, and they weren't neat and tidy all the time, nor were their environments neat and tidy all the time. This had no bearing on their spiritual state from what Ive observed. Ive only seen one hair raising sight when working mortuary transport.

Feelings lie, emotions are not a good gauge of a great spiritual state necessarily, except for thankfulness, gratitude or love. Compassion and kindness and truth go a long way as well. Hope, faith, belief.

You can be a person experiencing emotion, Christ displayed the vast spectrum as did David, the apostles, Moses and Aaron, Solomon, etc. Severe highs and lows.

If emotion was the gauge of deliverance, all these would have been lost. I also see a principle or God centered life as the contrasting point. Some had a hybrid it seems.

Not trying to be overly religious, but one, dont want to be in the same spiritual and mental spot again that I was a while back. Also, trying to set the mood for the angels.

I'm currently following Chistopher's "Kaballah, Magic, and the Great Work of Self-Transformation", Kraig's "Modern Magick", Cicero's "Self-Initiation into the Golden Dawn Tradition", Buckland's Spirit Book, and Kuriakos "A Complete Course in Magick".

The Shem Angels or Goetia were always a priority for me, for aid in reconstructing my life in different areas like a Project Manager. So "Kabbalah Practique", "Shemhamphoresh", "72 Angels of Magick" etc are reference and working material for constructing rituals and invocations leading to evocation.

Candle work and Hoodoo work is also a component of the magical mutt of me. Therefore Rivas, Yronwode, Alvarez, etc have texts I use for workings or research/reference like every other work actually).

Celtic/Gaelic incantations and blessings I may incorporate as layered workings with Shem invocations. Prt of my heritage, so part of my being a magical mutt.

I am about to begin McCarthys Magic Trilogy, and Quareia, "Kybalion" and Bardon's "Initiation into Hermetics" are my next group to begin doing with.

It is not for me to stick with one book, but try to follow each by grade.

Got to work late by taking the wrong bus and cutting close on time, but from frozen, got all foods cooked and served fifteen minutes ahead of time. Kept up with things, so all I have to do is ride out a half hour, pull and wash everything and do a few errands before a final mop.
Then it's on getting home to complete all rituals and speaking of, actually do a Tzadkiel ritual invocation.

I like the Magicians Workbook, I really do. Im looking at the Mercurial Invocation, and will read the book in depth when I have the time. Same with The Magical Trilogy.
I guess where my failing before have been not knowing basic ritual components and subcomponents.
Subcomponents include

Self purification -- Ive got this
Raising of Energy -- By Middle Pillr, Ive got this
Meditation on Intent -- Ive got this
Using correspondences -- Ive got this
Saying an incantation related to the meditation -- Ive got this

Now, if there are parts of ritual missing here, then it starts with knowing every possible component and subcomponents of any ritual.
In newer magical systems however, Gallery of Magic and Quareia being the only two valid systems I know of at the moment, I choose both, I like both, and certain parts are easy for me, such as sense evocation keys in Magick of Demons for example, or the Angelic Invocation in 72 Angels of Magick; McCarthy has purification and sacred space covered, and movement of energy covered. Between the two, and with Savedows Magical Workbook, this will solve most of it Im sure. Frater Barnabas also has a spectacular book on Ritual that I am also reading.
So lets look at the Mercurial Invocation

Pretty straightforward to me ... except for the energy created, raised, mingled with intent, raised again, and released, thus fulfilling intent. Even in a petition ritual, the energy work is what stumps me. Others have recommended systems such as Qi Gong or Reiki, while I struggle with building Psi Balls, or even seeing them even my own, although a new trick was taught to me in raising and releasing energy, the final step like Spider Man or something.

Found Blue paper (although Purple and Orange are the correct complimentary colors), can still make it work if I shade and mix hues enough of watercolor pencils red and yellow to make orange. Or use Blue/Purple on orange lighter weight paper I also found (was a printout on orange paper, can use reverse side, just be careful in inking).

Found an article on 22 Angels of Healing, might be able to work this with Psalms 119 in the 22 parts, or analyze their psalms and see what can be added to increase power of the invocation.
Also use 72 Angels of Magic and Demons of Magic Angel conjuration to increase the power of the invocation.

64 Square Kamea and the Seal for Raphael might be a tad difficult on 8.5x11 paper, but will try.

Shem Angel for the day:
24th – HAHIUIAH. His attribute is “God good in himself”. He corresponds to the holy name Esar in the Etruscan language. His ray begins from the 116th degree of the circle to the 120th inclusive, corresponding to the twelfth decade and to the angel called Thuimis. He rules over the following days: 12th April, 23rd June, 3rd September, 14th November, 25th January. The invocation is made from 7:40am to 8:00am; one says the divine names with the 18th verse of Psalm 33: “Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;” (Ecce oculi Domini super metuentes eum: et in eis, qui spirant in misericordia ejus).
He serves to obtain grace and mercy from God. This angel rules over exiles, fugitive prisoners and condemned prisoners; he works against the discovery of secret crimes, and those men who commit them will escape justice provided they do not fall back into the same criminal ways. He protects against harmful beasts and he protects against robbers and assassins.
