I appreciate it, but no need for prayer.
Prayer regarding me from most people goes straight to hell it seems.
What I mean by this is that people who pray for me seem to cause as much turbulence as my practice does. It seems to me anyway.
What I need is for human beings to be human. What I mean by this is that every humans basic needs should be met.
Whatever it takes to aim for that is my prayer.
In a crappy mood. I know my education is strongly lacking. I know my opinions come from my family home. It just irritates me to be made to feel small whenever and wherever (Facebook mainly) I make my thoughts known.
I understand. I don't mind prayers, I'm just not very much a believer as my situation goes on. If I had been smart, I would have applied for disability in my 20s when my epilepsy was first made known.
That was 37 years ago with the diagnosis.
Unfortunately my symptoms get more severe as time goes on.
But ... Understood. @Konsciencia ... I would love prayers, thank you very much for the offer.

Got all my laundry done, had dinner and a chat with my Dad about the good and bad of artificial intelligence. He and I are not fans of AI.
Thinking about my homelessness despite temporary shelter, the inability to stand sometimes, the inability to have energy at times, the joblessness in short. I need to get my lawyer packet filled out this weekend. I also need to contact my old roommate and tell him tomorrow is a a no go for me. I'm simply not up to being a cleaner tomorrow. Plus I still have the mouse issue at my place to deal with.

Not everyone is meant to be a magician I guess. Not for me anyway it seems. It never works for me.
I either get a fairly stressed life without magic or an overly stressful life with magic. My life is far too complicated, nay, a friggin disaster is a closer term.
So ... I have two choices stick with it or leave it.
Or maybe I do more Harry Potter play than actual magic and I'm blame shifting everything wrong in my life to magic.
Yet there are church people that want me to burn everything magic related, relatives that are concerned about my involvement, forget about a dating scene.
So...what are your thoughts on this? I'm not saying I'm quitting, I'm saying my life is too stressful for me to handle, and whatever it takes to get rid of the stress is the worthy goal. I just can't handle another piece of straw on my back.

My folks gave me two hundred dollars today, and spent sixty five immediately on kitty food and kitty litter.
Apparently there was a skirmish between Pandie and the mouse, because she was apparently getting at it but the carpet rug was curled over sideways. Got four mousetraps as well.
Have to go back to ypsi arbors evergreen Blood-ville to completely clean my room out and get the last remaining stuff I need to get out of there.
Got all I cared about out of the old apartment. Good riddance Blood-ville.

It would then be erected in terms of job opening by adopting as a state the GS pay scale system and OPM classifications.
According to test results, particularly career placement would give a minimum wage per the GS grade based on aptitude.
This would cut down on revolving employment, give employers real candidates for the job openings, give reason to transfer or remove employees based on results as well as prior performance indicators. This would provide the right fit for the job.

Aside from it being very Harry Potter to some, the wand is the central item, the wand creates.
My wand is the fifth in a line of wands.
The tip of the invoking end has three nubs where branches used to be, and in the honor of the Trinity, it stands to me as the triune power of God, a symbol even of the Trinity. My goal is to affix a sunstone to this end.

For me it's Egypt, while Mesopotamia and the Celtic lands call as well. I've never had a Greco-Roman fetish since failing History of Ancient Rome as a guest student at the U of M.

This is my first experiment in the most effective methods to summon the spirit of Saint Raphael the Archangel for assistance in all works of healing.
You don’t really hear of miraculous healing these days. There isn’t much given about the specific methods of curing mental, emotional and physical illness. This lack of concrete information and knowledge inspires me to take a deep dive into what really works and what doesn’t.
I’m beginning with Raphael because I have extensive experience in working with angels and I want to see how useful that experience can truly be in causing healing miracles. I take note and record all of my work because I see Magic as an ancient science that should have marked and repeatable results.
The note book pictured is a document of times, dates, astrological correspondence, insights, meditations, prayers, herbs, stones, oils, animals, spheres, planes etc pertaining to the work at hand.
In the Book Of Tobit, Saint Raphael shares a recipe to drive away evil spirits: “Catch a fish, cut it open, take out the heart, liver and gall.” Its intended to dry the heart and liver out, crush them down to a powder and burn them as an incense. The gall can be used to create an ointment said to heal blindness.
In my studies, Raphael is said to be sociable, kind, giving, and a humanitarian with a great sense of humor. His colors are greens and yellows.
I have performed healing work in the past with great results, but now I want to take it to a new level and get to know Raphael just as well as I know Saint Michael.

I should probably get my hands dipped into alchemy today, to start a week long process of making a basil oil for dressing candles.
A hoodoo primer lesson for a newbie - waking and blessing herbs and roots.
Also a Bible study (on herbs/incense) mentioned may be helpful for me.
I have basil, 1/4 shot bottle of Jack Daniels, coarse Sea Salt, Olive oil (virgin), coffee filters #4, and two ounce cups and lids for oil storage.
I don't have white handkerchiefs, but I do have a whitish checkered dress shirt too large for me, so may cut off the sleeves to use as the container for the maceration process, and bind it shut and knotted with white string.
Then I hang it in the closet for five days, each day praying over it to bless and wake the macerated herb.
Then I will extract it by olive oil and the filter to a container, adding more fresh basil as well to give a greater smell of the basil.
Then test it as a protection Oil and dressing a candle for St Basil.

Speaking of Basil, St Basil, son of Basil the Great, was a missionary adhering to the Nicene Creed I believe. He was so charitable that he would bake bread with coins inside the bread, so that the poor got food and money. BILAAM THE DONKY DRIVER.....For those that do not recognize the name of Bilaam he is of import in satanic and Hebrew traditions. In life he was a world famous magi sorcerer prophet /priest that was even written about in the Old Testament.
He was at the time known as a mercenary and the most powerful Black Magickian in the land . He was hired by King Balak to curse the Jewish people but he told the king before I do this thing I must consult the Master of the Universe. What makes a person an official prophet or prophetess is the persons ability to speak directly with G-d and G-d speaks back directly with them. Also the prophet is gifted the boone of knowledge of future event's also intimate knowledge of what is concealed to the rest of mankind. Many modern diluted souls claim prophethood and fancy themselves revelaters ( ablel to receive revelation) when in fact these people have been siezed by the spirt of extreme spiritual fantasy and delusion.
In any case Bilaam was wise enough to ask if he could use his powers for such an endeavor for he heard the Jewish people were protected by Hashem and had Archangel Michael as their exclusive advocate so he had to be careful in how he handled this situation.

As a kid, I knew Tommy Borders and his parents. As a teenager going past the occult section to Ad&D stuff, The Satanic Bible, The Magus, and The Golden Dawn always struck my attention..
I've owned all three since my late thirties.
I've taken a serious vow to myself to work Christopher's book Kabalah, Magic and the Great Work of Self-Transformation cover to cover, treating it as a grimoire.
I also do a daily candle ritual of choice, that usually pairs candle colors with planet of the day for purposes suited to that planet.
I am also therefore simultaneously working with the textbook grimoire, The Golden Dawn, and side readings.
I am freshly Zelator ATM. Geomancy is my next thing to study and practice. Elemental spells or rituals. Master my Earth attributes at any and all cost. Master all shaken houses. Learn to be Earth. Make the earth pantacle. Master noob SI Hoodoo practices and have incense and oils to show for it.

Earth Grade Exercises, Per Kraig's Modern Magick Lesson 2, 3.
Each of the four magickal elements are representative of alternate aspects of the qualities of temperature and moisture or humidity. Since in this lesson we are working with the element of Earth, let us examine it's qualities. Obviously, Earth is not wet. Nor is it warm.
Therefore, we can say that the element Earth has the qualities of being dry and cool.
The next step is to learn how to become aware of and in control of this element in our day to day life.
Exercise 1. Make a list of all things that have the combined qualities of dryness and coolness. However, don't just do this out of your head. Rather, make a list of things of Earth you see each day. Practice this for one week. Be sure to record the results each day in your Magickal diary.
Exercise 2. Find a place filled with nature, such as a field or park. Wear as little clothing as possible and as you legally can, if nude is allowed it's best. Sit or lie on the ground so that as much of your skin as possible is touching the ground. This is easy to do wearing a skirt or kilt with no underwear and concealing yourself while sitting on earth.
Spend some time contemplating and feeling the coolness and dryness of Earth. Do this at least three times within one week.
Exercise 3. Spend a period of up to three.minutes (no more), once a day, imagining that you are the element Earth. Feel the heaviness, the slowness, the coolness, and the dryness of pure elemental Earth. Feel the way you could absorb the pains and problems of the world (however, do Not actually do so). Become Earth. Do this exercise daily for at least a week before moving on to the next exercise.
Exercise 4. Once you have learned to "be Earth", the next step is to control Elemental earth. Take a moment and imagine yourself to be Earth. Bring the feeling from the previous exercise into your consciousness. Next, hold your hands nine to 12 inches apart, palms facing each other. Imagine a bottle or box between your hands. Now, as you exhale, visualize all of the Earth element that is in you going out with your breath and into the container between your hands three to five breaths should be enough to fill it. Then, with three breaths, inhale it back into you and go back to normal consciousness.

Imagine yourself as a two-dimensional being in a two-dimensional world. Imagine extending the two-dimensional square of Flatland into a three-dimensional Cube of Space. The cube is the shape of the theme.tjag you are to envision yourself standing in when you do elemental grade work.
It is a Flatland expanded into the next dimension. You already know what a sphere looks like to Flatlander as it passes through the two-dimensional world.
What would a four-dimensional sphere -- a hypersphere -- look like passing through a three-dimensional space?
Our brains apparently are not equipped to visualize four dimensional objects, but You can at least picture what it looks like as it passes through the cube: a sphere that expands and contracts from a central point.
Viewig your ritual space in these ways is not the be-all and end-all of higher consciousness, but it is one of the approaches to magic that can help you tune yourself to the descending influence of higher worlds.

Earth Grounding Exercises:
1. Proprioception: For the entire solitaire grade, attempt to stay focused on the sensations in your body in the here and now. Feel the texture of your clothing as you said and walk. Feel the physical sensations of emotion. Become absorbed in all of your bodily sensations, both pleasant and unpleasant. Pay particular attention to the feeling you get when returning to this exercise from your habitual distractions or daydreaming. You may wish to wear a watch that has an hourly chime to keep you reminded of this continuous exercise.
2. Active Zen: once you have read the book Everyday Zen, do at least one month of daily work in which you incorporate the principle of Zen into some mundane household task. Your active Zen sessions should happen every day of that month, lasting from 30 to 60 minutes. Some good examples of activities follow:
Washing your car
Cleaning the bathroom floor with a toothbrush
Sweeping leaves
Weeding
3. For one month, sit quietly for at least fifteen minutes each day and attempt to remain unwaveringly focused on the sensations on your skin. Observe the different components of each sensation. Eventually, focus on one particular sensation and label it's various aspects. Try to dissect it mentally.
4. For one month, spend ten minutes each day standing with your feet slightly./ pigeon-toed and shoulder-width apart and with your knees slightly bent. Push into the Earth as though trying to push two sections of the ground apart. Feel as though someone is challenging you and you are holding your ground. During this exercise, occasionally grip the floor slightly with your toes, as though your feet were suction cups. Occasionally, bend your knees while breathing in, and then resume the slightly-bent-knee posture while breaking out. Note any feelings that come up as you do this. Explore those feelings, even if they are emotionally troublesome. Also, note any desire to stop this exercise prematurely - - stay alert and try to discern if the ego becomes restless as a defends itself from the release of emotion.
5. For a month, once per day, jump up and down for a couple of minutes on an earthy surface, letting everything become loose and buoyant. With each impact on the earth, bend your knees and feel how the ground absorbs you.
6. For a month, become aware of gravity whenever you are walking or standing idly. Feel an invisible vector passing downward through your center of gravity and into the earth. Is the earth pushing up against you, or are you pushing down against the earth?
7. At least three times, lie on a blanket a night, under the stars. Look at the sky and imagine that you are actually above them, as though you are riveted to "the ceiling". Feel the mysterious force that holds you to the ceiling and marvel at the vastness of space "beneath" you.

Major Court or Minor involves all 78 cards, well shuffled. Try a relatively new deck. As you feel each card get a feel for which type of card it is. Don't worry about what suit or number though if these enter your mind, go with that.

Less than five greater than six involves the aces and the minor arcana only. Shuffle.tye deck well. I've used a pendulum on this method before. Let a number flash your.mind and say aloud, if correct leave card face up, otherwise face down in a separate pile.
