Back to work today. Fourth day into Malkuth month (June). Almost up with time for Geomancy as core study before another topic comes. At this point I should be able to identify most rocks and minerals based on Geology knowledge (granted haven't touched it really seriously since 2004, but still), and be able to cast a basic Geomancy reading by dice or series of dots on paper. The next three days should be studying the figures, the descriptions and relations to houses, plants and signs of astrology, and interpretation of a cast reading. Memorize the sixteen figures by tomorrow night, use flashcard constructs if necessary. Color code even with colored post it notepads.

The inner plane initiations are about learning to control the plane energies, discarding karma and adverse influences, increasing alignment with higher beings and increasing spiritual intent

The substance of every plane is comprised of elementals. Each plane has lesser devas (nature spirits) that work to manage the elementals and in the higher planes there are greater devas that drive the lesser devas into coordinated and intentional groups/bodies

So the answer is that the question is based on a limited/human view of elementals. Elementals exist at galactic and universal levels since they are the intelligent substance of every plane

By convention, it is possible to refer to the elementals of the physical-etheric subplanes as earth elementals and the elementals of the astral plane as water elementals ... etc. But I am not sure that is particularly useful

Mystics are not interested in grimoires nor in driving entities to do what is not in their nature. The true mystic is consumed by the need to experience the Oneness of All.

Thus at the mystic stage the human is rather passive.

The mystic may well transcend that need to be immersed in unity and learn to direct spiritual intent to the unfoldment of the solar system.

At that stage the human is learning to join in the work of mages from all kingdoms of Creation/Existence

Not much. He had a curse war with someone and invoked Choronzon into himself in a evocation triangle in the desert. Both of the events occurred shortly before his death. I was once told by a young Satanist that he and LaVey were engaged in a battle of wills in hell.
